Soul: Welcome to our fifth guild meeting. We've had a lot of events going on lately. There are several events and raids that are scheduled on the in game calender so be sure to check it often.
As of last night we have approximately 255 separate, active players in the guild. Great job guys.
A reminder: if you need any gems, enchants, buckles, spikes, etc.. for your toon and you have the mats we do have members who will make if for you at no charge. If you do not have the mats you can purchase them from the guild bank for about half the auction house price or the listed guild price.
The prices have been posted on the website forums for the guild price for mats for raids. Prices subject to change without notice.
Papa: Raid Update
-June 19 we are going to try for SoO flex-525 ilvl gear is needed, try to run with the guild prior, have your gear gemmed, enchanted, reforged. Ask an officer if you need assistance.
Raid Rules:
-Watch/read/already have done boss fights
-Sign up on the in game calender if you wish to attend. Invites will go as follows: Signed up Accepted, Signed up Tentative, Guild Shout, members who have non guild 90s, pug
-Start for group will be 30 minutes prior to raid time-if you are not on your spot may be given to another member. The goal is to be in the instance on first pull AT raid time
-the raid leader or an officer will check everyone's gear
-Be ready: repaired, have the gold for repairs, spend any points (valor) you need to prior, upgrade, gemmed, enchanted, etc.., go to the bathroom, get a drink/snack, walk the dog, etc...
-Make sure you have the DBM addon as it will help us overall
-Beginning of the raid, all present will be promoted to Knight rank which has access to 250g for guild repairs, this will be used during the raid so we can work on the Guild repair achievement. At the end of the raid, all who were promoted will go back to their original ranks. If we forget to do this please remind us
-Flasks will be provided to members in the raid, must have active prior to the boss pulls
-Raid Leader: will give boss explanations (if you have an idea whisper the Raid Leader, do not do it in vent)
-Master Looter: Loot: Main Spec, Off Spec, DE- must roll on it by typing /roll in raid-do not say “I need in vent” we do not know everyone's voices
-Bitch Master: If you have a complaint whisper this member and it will be dealt with AFTER the raid
-Raid Mule: Will carry items for the raids and will be done according to mats availability in the Guild Bank
-Typically dps will NOT be Brez'd, as tanks and heals are top priority, raid leader willl call out for rez's
Last Week: Friday
-We raided Heart of Fear on 10 man normal
-After a couple of wipes and toon switch outs, we downed the first boss
-Those who were not used to doing normal raids got a good taste of it with how the mechanics went
Upcoming:
-Many new raids have been added to the calender, so be sure to check it regularly as events may change
-We are being told by members they want to raid, but people are not signing up/showing up for the raid. We can only do raids if we have members who sign up and show up for raids. We would love to see the guild progress further into end game
PvP: Soul
-We are still looking for someone willing to and be able to assist in this area. So if you are interested in getting some Guild PvP going, let an officer know
Events: Tefnet:
-We've been trying to set up some events from time to time where anyone can join in. This way we can try make sure that others, not just 90s can some in and interact with everyone's
-This way we can try to make sure that no one feels left out
-These events can be anything from falling to our deaths above Orgimmar multiple times, to a naked race stretching from Stormwind to Booty Bay.
-We want to try and have one of these such events once a month if not every other week
-Currently we have a few events scheduled to take place in the near future: A scavenger hunt, hide 'n seek, and some older content in which we will be running in nothing but our guild tabards
-If you have any ideas for a future event feel free to whisper Daallia, Livacious, or myself (Tefnet), we would love to hear some ideas from other people
-This past week we did a naked run from Stormwind to Booty Bay; had 15 members join in
-While we did have a few kinks (that were worked out along the way) if was fun and enjoyable
-We have a 90 horde join us all the way down and back up
-In the end, Wuchutanga was the victor
Guild Achievements: Liv
-We have a few that we have been working on for a while, including fishing, critter kills, farming achievements, and Stay Classy which we also need to be able to purchase the 8th guild tab for the bank
Guild Bank Status: Soul
-We currently have 57k gold in the bank
-We still need several items: Golden Lotus, Herbs, Trillium ore/bars, living steel, uncut blue quality raid gems, enchanting mats, mats for threads and shoulder inscriptions, belt buckles, shield spikes
Guild Issues: Soul
-For the time being, we have not had any issues
Guild Website and Vent: Soul
-Our half of the vent has been paid for for this next year, thank you to those that donated
-The Guild Website is open for everyone
-Make sure you go put in an application and Soul or one of the other officers will get to you
-Remember, both website and vent registration are needed for promotions in the guild
Promotions: Soul
Private → Corporal: register/apply for website and vent, be at least lvl 25, and be in guild for 2 weeks
-Angier
Corporal → Guard: 4 weeks as corporal, active, be at least lvl 50
-Black
Open Floor:
-For SoO Flex coming up, make sure you have DBM and have a minimum of 525 iLvl
Addon: Guild Donation Helper
-Takes 5% of what you get from mail and raids and puts into the guild bank
-Deathgripd made a Horde guild for any of the guildies who have Horde toons and wish to play alongside the guildies
How do I get gear other than in LFR?
-Timeless Isle
-Crafted gear
-Celestials
(Make sure you get your Warforged Seals every week)
-If you are gathering mats for lvls 1-80 be sure to save them as prices tend to skyrocket whenever a new expansion comes out
-You do not need a group for Celestials, just hit it once and get out of dodge
